Spring Into Energy Fair set for March 23

BRISTOL – The Audubon Society of Rhode Island and Green Energy Consumers Alliance will hold a Spring Into Energy Fair event on Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Audubon Nature Center and Aquarium, 1401 Hope St.

Experts from across the state will create a one-stop shop for clean energy and conservation needs including home efficiency, electric cars, rooftop solar, and more.

Test drive electric cars and bicycles. Meet experts and ask about renewable energy options, costs and incentives. Discover current recycling tips and other ways to make a difference.

Some of the organizations that will be exhibiting:

• RISE Engineering: providing energy efficiency measures to renters and homeowners, including home energy assessments through National Grid’s EnergyWise program

• NEC Solar: offering residential and commercial solar options

• Acadia Center: empowering communities and offering real-world solutions to the climate crisis through advocacy and research

• Citizen’s Climate Lobby: working to put a price on carbon

• E2SOL: maximizing renewable energy solutions for individuals and communities while providing guidance on energy tax incentives

• Test drive electric cars with Grieco Toyota – Plus & Advanced and BMW of Warwick - i3 and e-bikes with Mission Electric Bikes: opportunities will be available to get behind the wheel of an electric vehicle (EV) and see for yourself that the future is electric.
